Sorry for the long latency in responding to your post. Thanks for your kind offer. I'll take you up on it for sure if my travels bring be to Dallas. My best friend was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on 12/24/2002 and he took a turn for the worst at roughly the time you posted and passed away on 4/23/2003. Since then I've been trying to catch up at work as I had taken some time off to help him and his wife as best I could.
I do have some good news though. I am in the process of purchasing a pair of M-2's that I found on Audiogon. I've been thinking and considering various speakers for a number of months. I had planned to pay Wamajama a visit in Fairfax to listen to his U-1's but I wasn't able to get there due in part to my friend's illness. When I saw this pair of M-2's I couldn't resist. It's the only pair I've seen on Audiogon in the last 9 months. I must have been the first one to see the ad as the seller indicated that he had 15 emails within the first hour. Figured I would act and apologize later relative to my wife. The only non cone speakers that she has ever heard were a pair of MG3.5's. She liked them but wasn't carried away enough to overcome her dislike for the size of the panels. I'm trusting that the M-2's will blow her away sufficiently for her to forget her panel objections. I still have my MA1-MKII.2's (fully optioned) and plan to start with them and a pair of Zeros. I may end up with Wolcott's in the long run but that's also going to take some convincing with my wife. I may buy another pair of Wolcott's with the proper options and A/B them. I'll bet she's the only non audiophile wife in the world that threatens her husband with death if the Atma-spheres ever leave the listening room. It has amazed me how much she has taken to Atma-sphere. Just wanted to let you and the group know that I'm joining the Soundlab family at the entry level. I'm not counting my experience with the Pristines. Expecting to hear some fantastic music from the M-2's. Any advice or suggestions welcomed.
