Reading your post I think it is fair to say that the bias issues that you had earlier are put to bed. I will assume that all is well with the speakers.

I agree completely with you regarding how good looking the MA1 amps are. Wolcott’s to look at are just black lumps in comparison, the build quality of them though is First Class. Sonic between the two are a different matter altogether and rather than make yet another list of virtues and pros and cons you are better off doing a search in this forum on the two amps. The comments made by all the contributors are totally accurate.

In my opinion the high impedance upgrade and/or Zero’s are unlikely to increase the volume of the speakers.

A few years ago I tried the following preamp's - ML 32, CJ prem 14 and a Klyne, for me driving the amps directly with the Wadia 27 was best. The Wadia and dCS options that you have given are excellent choices but your own tastes will have to be the judge.
