Dear Albert,I have often enjoyed looking at your " Dedicated Room", Dedicated to purest pleasure that is..!
My listening room has much the same style ceiling as you have...And my dinning room continues on after the listening area as yours does...
I have a brick fire place as you do,but it to one side of the listening area...And it is a nice dampening effect on the side reflections...
And I would suspect that your brick fire place helps to dampen your back bass wave from your ESL's....Even you glass windows are recessed at different level patterns, giving a bass wave damping effect...
I would also think that your couches & rugs do a lot to absorb room reflections,and I've experienced this kind of ceiling as helpful in room balance...
It is my understanding that this room no longer exists,so how about some picks of the New Dedicated Room ? TK
