Ben you are going to confuse me. I've A2 speeker. They can have bi amplified. The tweeter is on one side, the bass the other. The tweeter is done in 3 parts to reduce focal point. The serial number is A20NNNA, and Dr West confirm it's A2 model.
I can send you picture of it with clothes removed.
I'm refurbishing them.
I'm sure it's not A2X because schematic diagramm doesn't match. They were done in 1980.
I've two control Bias and brillance.

Maybe this serial was made between A2 and A2X?

Now I don't know what I've had exactly.
