Thanks for sharing your experience. I like the idea of the Mills in parallel with no series connection.

I had considered doing what you have done with the Mills in parallel, but rejected the idea because I beleive that there should be air spaces all around the Mills resistors (they are designed to be air cooled). The other reason that I did not choose high R (180 ohms) is because lower value resistors have better heat dissipation. I am using 10R - perhaps I should consider something like 30R in the future.

Don't mean to sound negative, but since you said in your earlier post that you may want to revisit the X-over - the above is something that you may want to consider.

Let us hope that Roy's 4 x 300 watt Ohmite resistors is the final answer. You and me have already spent too much money on those Mills (must say that they are good sounding though).
