Hello Andre,
Hope you will be as pleased with your Pristine III+ as I am. They have given me great musical pleasure over several years, now. Originally Pristine III I had them upgraded to + by the factory a few years back.
In my dedicated listening room I have them 1.30 m from the back wall and 0.35 m from the side walls. At the speaker location my room is 3.30 m wide and then widening out at 1.85 m to close to 5 m.
The speakers are toed in aiming at the listening position at 4.30 m from the back wall and giving excellent results. I have found the toe in to make a difference with greater precision and creating a larger acoustiv environment this way.
In general I am impressed with the acoustical results given the somewhat challenging room size and layout. I suspect the line source characteristics contribute favourably...
I run the bass/ mid frequency equalization in neutral and the brilliance adjustment at 3 o'clock.
I have given some thought to acquiring spikes, and SALLIE, for further improvemnets and would like to hear any thoughts and/ or experience from SL owners. Please revert with your experiences when you contiue to work with your Pristine placement.

regards from Norway,

alf
