types of amps, tube-types included, to test and voice the speakers. I don't know anything
about the 700cx; it that an integrated amp? Transistor amps are most often de-stabilized
by the reactance of an ESL (the fact that an ESL resembles a capacitor as a load, in this case),
not usually due to low impedance. In particular, ss designs with very high negative
feedback are prone to these problems. But in the modern era and from a company as
reputable as Krell, you should not be having these problems. Of course, the Krell guy is
anxious to shift the blame. Do you play music at very high volume?
