If the amp is failing due to the reactive currents required by the speaker at high frequencies, the design is faulty.

If the amp is oscillating because of the capacitive load, the amp is unsuitable for use with these speakers.

I try to refrain from making negative comments about audio gear that I do not personally own, but I can't help myself in this case. What I hear from a good friend who has had to repair some recent Krell components is not comforting. Either of the above is possible.
