Before doing anything rash, I suggest you try a different amplifier on your speakers that has
sufficient power to drive them properly. If the second amp also becomes unstable or is
damaged, then I'd suggest you contact the Sound Lab factory and also check out your BAT
pre-amp as per Al Sekala's suggestion (although, Al, if the BAT is putting out DC and
assuming the Krell can pass DC, wouldn't that endanger the speakers rather than the
amplifier?). I can think of things that could go wrong in the speaker circuitry that could in
theory cause the problem you are having with your ampllifier, but no one has reported on
SLOG the particular problem I am wondering about in this case, concerning the mixer box.
