What does he say about the Acoustat sound..? And does he really need to re-tube or is it just the thing to do?

Art said : He had tried the Acoustat Servo-Stat Amplifiers on his Sound Labs Speakers producing extremely transparent sound ,but at very low levels....As it should be expected ,because the Acoustate amps could only panel bias at 5KV....Way low for a Sound Lab panel...requiring 12Kv to 16Kv Bias voltage...

It would require a simple re-wire,but I wonder what the combination of the Acoustat DD amp with the correct Sound Lab biased full-Range Panel would sound like?.....I think it would be a whole new game.....
