With all due respect Bob I thought you are asking what had happened to the plans to build a direct drive amp to drive a M1, 2 or 3 speakers and not a large base panel that you say needs 16kV. It would be a worth while excercise to investigate what the ACTUAL voltages are that are driving panels that most of us use. You may get a pleasant surprise and what seemed like a difficult amp to build may then turn out to be more feasible.
