And that's what I did...! I put thick stitched quilts wrapped around the a virtical pole..about 3 feet behind my ESL's ...And it does wonders for the top-end & midrange Clarity...

Anything behind the ESL panel needs to let the speaker breath ,so air motion energy needs to pass through it or be absorbed ...

I briefly asked Dr.West.... If he had ever considered trying out a Dual Diaphragm ESL Panel and sending a Canceling Phase Voltage to the rear ESL Panel Diaphragms to diffuse or phase out Rear Propagation ?...Humm....I did not get a lot of response..... On that ONE !!!???

If not SALLIE,some would rather Fichus......
