All of the above. More transparent, more extended and effortless high frequencies, removal
of a "gray"-ish coloration. It was my own choice to remove the Brilliance control from the
circuit entirely and to treat my room for optimal hf response, instead of dampening the
speaker response electronically. However, for those who feel that the speakers are just too
"bright" (or whatever) with no Brilliance attenuation, then I suggest that you use the control
first to determine how much electronic attenuation you like, then measure the resistance
across the potentiometer at that setting. Now, remove the potentiometer and substitute for
it a high quality high power resistor of the same value.
