Brian; thanks for your quick reply. It happens to only 1 of my speakers. Only when playing low bass, then the slapping happens. Some of my friends have already noticed the slapping when playing a bass player or a piano, but I thought it was a room response tso hat I was thinking about buying some diffusor. Only today I could tell it was not an echo from the back room as it was so loud that I paid a lot attention to it. Thinking about it, when I was playing some orchestra music 1st when I had the speaker, the slapping was right there (@ the left speaker). It is the left speaker alright because I switched the cables (L/R), and the slapping persisted.
Anyway, I could not see any tear thru the cloth. I am unplugging the electricity and would try again tomorrow. How can I determine exactly what is the problem ?
