At least that's what they told Henry Ford back in the 1800's...
There will always be someone who is saying : No! : "It-can't-be-done !"
And the Dreamers will keep on dreaming up Wonderful Ideas... Till science catches up to how to make it happen !....
Dr.Rodger West already makes Dual Diaphragm ESL being used a Sub Woofers....
And As I mentioned earlier : Professional Condenser Hi-End Microphones have been using changing level & polarity, Bias Multi-Directivity Principals for 50 years.....
Are not Microphones : Just Miniature Speakers used Back Wards...?
The Canceling rear ESL Diaphragm does not necessarily have to be in direct close proximity with the forward ESL panel. Diaphragm.....
All it has to do is some how Reduce some portion of the Rear Energy level produced by ESL panel back wave..
The Cancel ESL Rear Diaphragm may take the form of Active Pass Through ESL Slats ..Remember The Back Wave does not have to be completely removed, just reduced.....
Polk Audio was doing some thing like this a few years back...Certainly if you can accomplish this concept with a Cone / Box speaker it would seem logical it could be accomplished far more accurately with a very coherent transducer like ESL panels...
And some will still rather Fichus.....
