First of all, no person must buy 50 nor did I suggest that any person was obligated to any quantity. The 50 pieces is a requirement for me to obtain Hubbell at a quantity discount. I stated same in the thread at Audiogon which caused several members to email me and ask if they could begin a separate post on the subject.
Grainger.com, sells Hubbell 8300HI at $25.00. My local supplier offered them to me at $15.98 for 50 or more.
As of this afternoon I have commitments for 108 outlets, so the quantity discount is no longer an issue. I may get enough additional discount at over 100 pieces to cover orders shipped to Alaska and Canada, both of which I have commitments for.
The Acme with cryo on their home page is $45.00, the outlet I offered is $36.00.

Please view the ground strap and contact area materials and construction as well as thickness and durability specifications. Look at materials used for ground plain and ground clip as well as fastener materials.
Read the insulation material specifications, as well as the NEMA codes. If after that you still think the ACME is of superior construction, I advise you to buy their product and not respond to my offer.
