On the units I've experienced....Generally:
The Hi Control moves everything from above the crossover point....250-300 Hz. On up....
The Low tap moves every thing below the crossover point... 250-300 Hz Below
The Mid. adjustment moves frequencies around : 500-2000 Khz....And should only be used in extremely bad rooms...Where there is no room treatment possible......
Modification of choice : By-pass the Hi - Control For added efficiency and clarity....
Forget the Mid Control is there....
Adjust Bass tap to just under.... Hi..Settings.... &.... size of room.....
