I realize the difference. My concerns are with the Citation II in mono mode will supply around 120W - would it be enough to recreate the realistic dynamics of demanding music. I know the Citation IIs are very wide bandwidth amps even considering their vintage. The other unknown is the small hum I get from Citation II when idling with the Khorns (104db/w). I am hoping because of lower sensitivity of the A-1s, I won't hear the hums.
