What you hope is possible?.....

And because the Sound Lab ESL speakers have such a full deep [ in phase ] bass responce....You may hear more hum & noise from the Sound Lab ESL's than you would from the way you may have had your Kilships horn speakers set up...?

The 60 HZ and 120 Hz bass responce of both Sound Lab Speakers & Kilpish horn speakers are highly dependent on room position for the amount of low Bass they are able to produce....

K-horns need big room corners to complete the bass horn section for full robust bass ...And Sound Lab ESL's speakers need large rooms with very open spaces...and 5' behind the back wave or more from back walls to developed a full forward bass wave........

Many may question this opinion : But it is my belief that Sound Lab ESL speakers are more efficient than most Horn Speakers below 100 HZ..... A true horn speaker to produce 100 Hz should be over 120 feet long.......

Sound Lab 8' ESLs can actually produce 28 HZ.....enough to shake walls.....

Some of the hum you may be experiencing may be coming from interconnect cables, power ground loops and associated equipment.....
