I thank you for your picks, and I am so pleased to see a SLOG'er use a Real Time Spectrum Analyzer to test, and back up changes made to a Sound Lab pieces of sonic art....
I find your graph most interesting ..I wish you could have also included a pick for reference .. Of just the raw COMPUTER PINK NOISE to compare with the one presented ,because not all pink noises are created equal..?
And I would like to know where in the system the samples were detected ? If the graph was sampled from a referenced microphone, voltage at the torid ? or other source?
Your resistor is so open... Really giving you an excellent way of testing exact voltage changes in minute series resistance changes...
I would have expected to see more mid-range changes [1K - 3 Khz] than indicated..?
It would also have be interesting to see activity above 20 Khz...Many microphones also have Hemholz Ring modes in the same frequencies areas as moving coil cartridges.
Your graph does indicate that series restance changes before the toroid, does have much the same effect as a treble control...
I would love to see the graph information that would be observed with the same minimal steped changes in : Toroid Input Load Restance..." 8 Ohm " I think it would surprise almost everyone...
