they are a conventional construction then it could only be due to the choice of materials. Anyway,
I am not about to make any changes for a while; I've got Cardas silver/rhodium posts on the
speakers AND on my amplifier outputs. Changing the latter would be a real bear of a job, and I
am in audio Nirvana anyway. Never before in my 30 years of audiophilia have I been so pleased
with my system. I do plan in the near future to remove the spade connectors from the amplifier-
end of my speaker wires and then clamp the bare wire directly under the Cardas posts, but that's
a simple job that requires no heavy lifting. I've already done that at the loudspeaker end of the
wires. No connector is better than any connector, and if one had real cullions one would connect
components by hard-wiring. However, I doubt that I will ever bother to do that.
