I see you're pursuing the "next step"! Wish I knew of a pair of Sound Labs in your area that you could audition.

Not sure how far you are from Barrington, Illinois (near Chicago), but Brian Walsh has a pair of U-1's set up there. There's enough similarity between the U-1's and M-1's to give you a representative audition.
