Dear Lew
Thanks for your input.
I was thinking of building a SET 6c33c for my plasma tweeters, but have heard some say that the 6c33c sounds more like solid state than tube.
The 6c33c is one of the most solidly built tube that I have ever encountered. I like them (which is not strange) as I have the penchant for exotics.
My current projects includes a GM70 SET one-tube monos (40 watt) for the HF and a GM70 push-pull monos (160 watt) for the LF of my SLS. Care to comment what impedance I should be targetting for the HF amps? For the LF I will be winding an 8R output trans that can stretch out to 20R.
Cheers
