Pristine crossover setpoints

my crossover is stock. (4)7R5 resistors and (2)8MFD Caps. I have read that some owners have changed the values to change the crossover point. Im in the process of updating the speakers and would like to know the strategy to select the new values to upgrade the speakers performance. Im using MFA 200D tube amps (175 Wpc). Like others, I thinks I will stick to the stock transformer but Im getting the new cores.
