Subs with Sound Labs

I have Sound Lab A3 speakers driven by Atmasphere MA1 amps.
For me the lower base is just not physical enough.
Has anyone successfully mated sub(s) with Sound Lab speakers. I tried Bi-Amping with a pair of Audio Research VT150 amps but they did not blend well and I do not have another pair of OTL amps to mate with my MA1’s.
