No cryo treatment for the Wolcott as yet. In fact, the break in period of the high frequency transformer (toroidal) on the Soundlab took so long, I ordered an additional (stock) back plate from Connie at Soundlab to see if I was imagining things.

In the end the results were marvelous, although it was about four months before the cryo version quit being too bright on the tonal balance.

Sad news is that Soundlab has provided me with brand new back plates as of last month or so, and they are NOT cryo treated. I am waiting for the new cores and break in of those before I start any new projects to change the system.
