Walker Audio SST contact enhancer

Over the last month or so, I have been progressively applying more and
more of the SST to contact points in my system. I have treated all
interconnects, the tube pins in my MP1 preamp, and both ends of my
speaker cables. I have not yet treated the pins on my amplifier tubes.
All I can say is that this stuff is great so far (vide infra). There is an
increase in depth, high frequency extension, midrange clarity and
"coherence", for want of a better word. It's just a subjective
impression, but I also sense that the system is more energy efficient, in
that I am using lower settings on my volume control for both CDs and
LPs to achieve the same listening levels.

I am suspicious of gooey stuff in audio and of "contact enhancers" in
general, so I am still waiting for some sort of degradation to set in,
perhaps associated with longterm changes in the character of the
carrier paste, but so far this is very very good stuff.
