My cartridge coils should lay at exactly 45 degree angles but they are very slightly rotated. Added to that I can see that a slight error is visible with respect of the cantilever/stylus alignment to the coils.
To your cartridge, even if it is tilted say 3 degrees I don’t think it will cause you any problem with breakdown. Mind, I am no expert on cartridges, its just observation and a gut feeling.

I am so won over by vinyl that I don’t have my CD setup any more, It did not get close.
I go off to my local market more or less every weekend and come back with on average 2 carrier bags full of LP’s and the cost is a tiny fraction of what I used to pay out for CD’s.
So little money for such quality, what a great hobby.
