With separate tweeter and woofer panels? I did not know that, being a latecomer to Sound Lab products. This would mean that there is no need to mix the outputs of the bass and treble transformers BEFORE the diaphragm, which would obviate the impedance problems created by paralleling the secondaries of the two transformers. So, how does an optimized A2X sound compared to an A3, assuming the two spkrs have roughly similar total diaphragm areas? And do you know anything about the overall impedance characteristic of the A2X?
