You could keep your Aurora if you want to biamp. It will work if you move the cross over point from your SL to your amps. ie remove the capcitor in the SL x-over and put a cap at the input to your Arora to cut down the low frequency going into the high frequency transformer. Cut off point of about 400 to 450 Hz works well in my SL. Obviously volume has to be adjusted to match volume of the other amp driving the bass.

I am currently using a SET GM70 amp driving the highs. It is quite seductive.

The CAT amps are pretty ordinary IMO. But do give it a try - highs very dry.

I have not heard the Walcotts but it seems to be popular here. Like I said earlier, don't discount the very affordable Hurricanes. It can make SL sing, and loud too.
