In a delayed reaction, I now see that I did not answer your question directly. My inference was
that I have not ever heard the tube in question. Other 6SN7s that I have listened to in the
context of my amps and preamp include the Syl/Philips 6SN7GTA, various Raytheons, Syl
6SN7GT/VT231, Brimar 6SN7GTY, various GE types, and RCA 5692 red-base. Second to the
Kenrads, I liked the Brimars. I have never played with any of the current production 6SN7s.
