Lew is correct. If your panels are greater than 3 yrs old I would be hesitant to do the "upgrade". I derived no increase in sensitivity to my circa 1998 panels.
Also, the high voltage upgrade appears to generate noise that emanates from the top of the panel so I would be leary about installing that also.
My panels are being returned to address the noise problem and a deterioration of frequency/impulse response.
I would certainly contact the factory first to discuss the pros and cons of the aforementioned changes.
