John, you might speak with someone at the factory to get the facts. While it is true an increase in sensitivity may not be realized depending upon when the cores were produced, the high output bias power supplies, in my experience, make a nice improvement. The updated and current production speakers seem noticeably livelier and cleaner, as observed by many at last week's CES. Your mileage may vary.
