I do plan to use your recommened values. I'm hoping that SL will have the new value mixers available.

It's good that you've kept some resistance for the top end. In my own measurements turning the brilliance control full up or bypassing it creates a response peak of about 15db at 15-16k hz with the elevated response reaching down to 6k hz, much to hot for my taste. The control at its mid point gives the flattest response for my setup, ~ 4ohms.

Thanks again to both of you for tenaciously pursuing this to a successful conclusion, a definite win win for all.
