The input sensitivity normally denotes what voltage is required to drive the amplifier to full output. In this case there would be a 3db difference in level. You would have to find a means to pad the higher power amplifier down. You could use a level control at the input to the amplifier. I vaguely remember a company making such a device, maybe Niles.? Someone else in the group I'm sure will know. Also, the value of the control should probably be 10x the input impedance of the Sunfire so as to not load the input Z of the down any further.
