The traps are actually quite broadband in absorption. According to Auralex, the NRC absorption is 1.63@125hz and 1.20@4000hz and pretty flat in-between. I already have a couple of RPG corner bass traps in the room so if I overdo it with the Venus then I could remove the RPG's.

I think for a trial run I'll just lean them against the back of the speakers and worry about a support later. They are somewhat floppy but it will do temporarily.

Question, what are the Sallies made of that is different than foam absorbers?
