Hi Lew,

Though I personally did not have my A-1 panels updated, a good friend had his U-2 panels upgraded to the very latest (as of a month or so ago) version. Up to that time he experienced some tears, hissing, etc. This latest version, I am told, included improved stator insulation; I've auditioned them twice, and I've heard no hissing, and the panels seem to be noticably more efficient (i.e. bias can be increased to a higher level). I might also add that the sonic improvement is striking.
