Try measuring with pink noise. Using a 1kHz test tone is unreliable as this is unlikely to represent the average response of your speaker. At 1kHz you may have a s u c k out induced by your room and that would through your measurement right out.

FYI, I get just 80dB at 1m. The bias was set so that I could hear the crackle noises very faintly when close to the speaker. For normal listening I back off the bias just a touch from crackle threshold.

It would be a great idea if everyone could try this test letting us know the age of your speaker at the same time. Also count the number of stator wires you have on a vertical facet, i.e., 20, 21, 27 or whatever other quantity of wires you may have.
