In order to make like a little easier on us 'philes, it seems like SL would recommend one or two subs that will integrate well with these panels. Geez, after reading all over the net about the many struggles with integrating dynamic subs with fast ES panels it would make me very hesitant to attempt this on my own(reading & taking my best guess). $6 or 7K is a lot to invest in a 80Hz speaker that may or may not become a satifactory full range system for a given situation.
Magnepan faced a similar situation with their smaller panels however, when one phones them then they advise the REL Strata or Velodyne(can't remember the model). At least they provide a good starting point. And even if it doesn't integrate seemlessly, well those smaller panels cost less than a bill so how can one complain!
So I would highly encourage SL to do some homework in this area to make life easier for us on our restricted budgets, and frequencies.
