Are Current capabilities a way to mate power amps with A-3?

Dear All, apart what you can buy with more power (normally few decibels only) would it been a correct criteria to look for high current (ampere) amplifiers?
I mean specifically a power amp relesing 100 ampere should really sound better than another one with 50 amperes only?
