I'm new to this technology. what is vacuming and how is it done? is it literally speaking "vacumming" the speakers? The bias tone doesn't seem so responsive on the "bad" speaker. i tried dialing it all the way up, and then down, and then setting it at right 12 o'clock, but it takes a few times for it to dial the sound right. once it is dial I am in heaven....these speakers are wonderful sounding ones (despite the problems I am encountering...)
how can I tell I have a bent diagraphm? I see through the cloth, and everything looks brand new inside. no torns, no rips...nada. have you actually seen the sparks happen with your A-7's? I discovered them when I was playing them in the dark.
