There's a possibility that Sound Lab will build a matching dynamic sub, but the idea is to allow sufficient flexibility for us to choose (or even build) our own. Siegfried Linkwitz's compact dynamic dipole subs look interesting in this application.
Whether Sound Lab will make specific recommendations, I don't know. They have avoided doing so with amplification. They wouldn't even do so with me, as a dealer. But when I asked 'em who they'd shown with at CES, I got lots of information. So, it may be a matter of asking the right question. Perhaps Sound Lab will recommend a certain type of sub (without naming specific brands), that might help us narrow it down considerably. For instance, if they say that a "pair of front-firing subs with a 4th order crossover" works best, it would give us a useful starting point.
I'm in contact with a couple of sub manufacturers whose products look to me like they'd work well with the new 80-Hz panels, and perhaps I can get a sub or two into Sound Lab's hands.
