Try the Counterpoint NPS 400 ($ 1295-$ 1500 on Audiogon now) and you will not be dissapointed. They never clip and can go over 90 dB easily with the A1. Dr West also liked the Boulder 500 amp 10 years ago.
Also the neww Yamaha MX-D1 ($ 1900) runs cool and has even higher power (500w).
