Assuming you are not grossly under-biasing and over-driving your speaker, as per Tom Conger's
suggestion, then you ought to send your Innersound amps back for an inspection at the
Innersound factory, too. Something is not right here. Tom Pain' suggestion re RFI sounds
plausible in theory, I guess, but I have never heard of such a phenomenon really documented in
all my 30 years as an audiophile. I nominate your amplifiers for a share of the blame, but I would
not get rid of them until I had a factory diagnosis of their state of operation, if I were you. I
would love to hear Al Sekala's opinion on the possible causes of this disaster. Meantime, I
assume that there was no obvious audible calamity that preceded the incident, such as dropping
a stylus on a record when the system was set at full volume, etc.
