One way to patch small holes is with clear silicon caulk. Brett told me how to do this on my U2s. The silicon not only seals the hole, but it presents a very high resistance to the stator, so that arc-ing is eliminated. Worked like a charm in my case with no recurrences. So, Roy, maybe your spkrs don't have to go back for new mylar, I hope.
