I am not sure what you expect me to advise about. If you want advice on a tube OTL amplifier,
my response here is the same as it was on the OTL Asylum; you need minimum 100W into 8
ohms, and if your amp of choice makes "only" 100W, then I recommend you also use a pair of
Zero Autoformers between the amp and speakers. Re the A1s, if you have not already removed
or bypassed the Brilliance control, then you should do so right away in order to improve
"transparency" (one of your stated goals). After that I recommend the "Mixer Upgrade" (search
these Archives). If you are really into DIY, then you can experiment with fancy inductors, caps,
resistors in the cross-over network that precedes the bass and treble audio transformers. For a
shunt resistor, I recommend Roy's Super Resistor. (Search on "Roy" or RSR or whatever.)
