If you know a competent friend or electronics repair person in your area, have him or her look at
the backplate before you go to the trouble of sending it back to the factory. I still believe you
have a problem that may be very easy to fix, unless you blew out the treble transformer itself
(which is the large black hockey-puck-shaped device standing on its side). Having identified
that as the toroidal transformer for the treble, work backwards from it toward the input
connections and see whether there is a loose connection. For example, right at the amplifier
input posts, the leads to both transformers are held in place by a knurled nut; make sure it's
tight. If none of this helps, then see if you can get some advice locally. If that proves fruitless,
THEN call the factory and arrange for shipment.
