For reasons that Terry mentioned, it seems intuitively obvious that power cords for bias voltage supplies should make no difference in the sonics of an ESL. However, I made the mistake of doing some experiments along this line, and to my amazement, I could hear subtle differences between each and every pair of cords I auditioned. I also found that "more expensive" does not at all equate to "better", and some boutique AC cords were dreadful in comparison to the factory cord. Why this was, I do not know. However, I finally chose the Mikro Omega cord as superior to all others I tried. Having made that decision, I refuse to think about it again.
