I've had a horrible experience with them over the past few years. I've spent almost $1200 having bass pannels rebuilt, new xfmrs, powersupplies, etc. The pannels had the stator rods completely replaced (I even have pictures of them.)
But almost immediately there was high voltage arc'ing. I have a string of emails with Roger West where he says "Invoice #591 is for the repair of an arcing problem in a woofer panel and installation of a new membrane. It states "woofer rebuild" but it was not a complete rebuild, it was for fixing electrical breakdowns and a new membrane. Invoice #647 was also for a woofer repair similar to that of Invoice #591, and a bass transformer. In both cases, the bass panels were not totally rebuilt. To do that, the stators would need to be removed, the frames re-surfaced, new stators made and insulated and glued into place, along with the installation of a new membrane."
Sure sounds like I'm the one who is mistaken. Problem is, I'm not! I know what I was told was going to be done (by Brett). I know what I saw when I received them back. Like I said I have pictures after the rebuild, I even sent them to Roger. The stators were completely rebuilt as he describes. But the job was botched, they deny they ever did it. I'm stuck with a pair of (once) beautifull sounding boat anchors. Anybody want to buy them cheap?
