I wondered whether my 3-footed M1s were typical of all M1s as they come from the factory, because the single, center-mounted front foot seems such an obvious bad idea. If one could devise a T- or triangle-shaped rigid (steel or aluminum?) base which would bolt to the bottom of an M or A series spkr, then IT could probably be anchored to the floor using 3 feet or spikes, IF the panel itself were supported symmetrically by 2 of the 3 feet, with the 3rd one positioned at the rear of the power supply and at the apex of the triangle.
